HOW DOES ALOE VERA WORK?
Aloe Vera is extraordinary in its ability to penetrate tissue. It takes 21-28 days for new cells to form and Aloe Vera helps to keep the new cells plump from the bottom up. All the nutrients come from the dermis layer of your skin to the epidermis. As Aloe Vera contains lignins it can go right down to the living layer of your skin. It is pointless feeding just the top skin as they have dead cells, the cells that are forming are the ones needing the nourishment.
Aloe Vera is a natural anaesthetic, although it will sting on contact with a cut or a spot, it then has a cooling feeling and with anaethetize it.
Aloe Vera kills bacteria - spraying Aloe First on a graze or cut will kill germs which can get under the broken skin, mouth bacteria will also benefit from Aloe Vera.
Aloe Vera kills viruses, like cold sores, shingles, chickenpox and herpes.
Aloe Vera is also fungicidial can help clear up Athletes Foot, Ringworm and Thrush.
Aloe Vera moisturises tissue and helps stop the skin from cracking, tissue can retain it's own moisture.
Aloe Vera is anti-inflammatory, It takes the heat out of burns and keeps the moisture within the tissue. As it is an anti-inflammatory Aloe Vera can help reduce inflammation on both the inside and the outside in such things as joint pain and irritable bowel syndrome because it calms down the tissue.
There are at least 75 vitamins and minerals in differing strengths in Aloe Vera, it also increases circulation by aiding the dilation of blood vessels and can help speed up healing.
Aloe Vera heals upto 30% faster and helps reduce scarring because it goes down to the living layer of your skin where new cells are forming it helps them grow without being deformed. However because it does this it should not be used on a wound that has stitches as it increases the healing process so fast that the new skin could grow over the stitches.
It also dissolves dead tissue on a wound and allows the new tissue room to grow. Works on old scar tissue, it can break down old scar tissue reducing the redness of scars and regenerates new tissue.
